Had to revisit the tree alone as it was not looking complete, this was as advised by my photographer friend Ramesh. Now it looks better

I did a rough color scheme on the background. It will be taking a minimum of 3-4 days just to address the background and then the subjects will take another 2 days.

Day 2 I took the second day to hide all the grid lines, they looked quite obvious so I had to bring it down.

Day 3, I did the pol and aol marking on both the subjects. Tomorrow I will be doing a value study of the background. A minimum of 4-5 days work to go...

This is actually a finished painting. I added an ocean overview and changed the color of all the pillars. Just about 1 more days work to go. This is an idea that one of my photographer friend gave. This is giving a new look to my work :-) So glad I took this advice

This is the second coating. As a first coat I flatly layered the whole canvas with appropriate middle tones. Today I added light wherever required and intensified shadow and absence of light zones

I darkened the absence of light zones and highlighted the presence of light zones. Only about 1 or 2 days work to go where I should intensify the dresses and her materials and little bit touch may be needed. Happy about the direction in which this is traveling.

I did the shrubs and also did all the greens. Just about 3 days work left. The goats, the girls and the violet background to be touched and the work will be over :-)

Touched the blue background, brushed it as much as possible and tried to keep it down. Just little bit more work left, about 3 -4 days. I may be finishing this this year

I did the rocks today. I will have to intensify the rocks and add light wherever required. I am guessing there will be a minimum of 4-5 days of work left.

Touched the work here and there, wherever required for about 2 hours. It looks the work is complete for me

Started this work in the month of December and finally finished it this month. Added light wherever required in the presence and absence of light zones. Here is a close up shot of the painting.

June 6, 2020 Day 4 Intensified the caste & core shadows on all the subjects, hut and the land. And also added light to the subjects, hut, sky and land area and finished the work

DId the overall sketch of the work. This overall sketch alone took me 3 days to finish. This painting is going to take a minimum of 10 days to finish. So I can expect it to finish in August or September, 2020

Started with a new work today with about 3 characters. The initial sketch alone will take about 3 days to complete. This work will finish only in the month of November this year or later

nished the male subjects hair, face, hands and also finished the whole of the background starting from the rock like wall to the shrub and the floor. Just one for days work to go, which will involve the dress of the both the subjects and if required the skin a little bit.

I finished the study on the female subjects hands, face, articles and her hair. I will be finishing the male subjects body tomorrow. Also I will be finishing the background probably tomorrow. So probably only 2 more days work to go...

The most awaited painting I would say. Started with this and did a rough overall sketch of the painting. About 7-8 more days of study to go...

I intensified the core and caste shadows, if I am not wrong only one more days work to go...

Day 6, Finished version of the cultural oil painting - Flaunting my red

Day 6, 16 April 2020, 8.30 am to 10.50 am

Added light to her skin, hair, pillars, dress and her cheppal. And then I also corrected the background walls and the floor. I will be adding varnish after it dries (probably after 4 months) which will add more depth to the caste and core shadows.

Day 3, 14 April 2020, 1 hour

Covered the second round of study on the fence behind, the land and all the subjects. The third round of study is about intensifying the core and caste shadows. I may add light too just in case it is required. Only 1 more days work left after the painting dries.
